WE HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY

We have something to say is not a criticism of any race, gender, or culture; but is a call for the voices of black women to be amplified in the workplace. Though their contributions have been great, they continue to suffer for success and achievement in America. They fight daily for a space where their contributions can be recognized in the workplace.

Many black women have said,

“If I address or challenge (confront) organizational issues, I’m perceived as not a team player or disrespectful…..”

“I was invited to the table, but I didn’t have permission to speak.”

That’s my work but I can’t tell anyone that my boss is taking credit for it.”

Their stories are not isolated but expand across professions. We have something to say that will amplify the voices of black women as this is the hour for them to come forth, move from the background to the forefront, walk in their authentic identity, showcase their skills, as they take their rightful place at the tables of influence. We have something to say…..
